Trance is a relaxed, focused state of concentration. It's a natural, yet altered, state of mind;if you've ever spent time daydreaming, or become so involved in what you're doing that you were unaware of time passing, you've already been in trance!
You can use that natural ability to change old habits which no longer serve you; you can find new ways of behaving and being; you can be happier!
Hypnosis is not mind control or a truth serum; you will never be 'unconscious' and the hypnotist cannot 'make' you do or say anything against your will. And you can't get 'stuck' in hypnosis! YOU are always in control.
All hypnosis is actually self-hypnosis; the hypnotist is a guide, making suggestions which the client chooses whether or not to follow.
I also use NLP (NeuroLinguistic Programming) techniques. These are designed to enable you to change or eliminate old,unwanted behaviors and to help you adopt new ones which serve you better.
Remember: hypnotherapy is a short term therapy. My aim is to give you the tools to use self-hypnosis on your own. I'll teach you self-hypnosis and ways to anchor new, positive thought patterns; you may also be given a self-hypnosis CD to use at home.
